Visualizing a progressive investment tool

Stocksnips is a sentiment analysis tech company that is changing the investing paradigm. My role with this client ranged from numerous design and development projects to a short video promoting their mobile app.

Project Challenges

Representing sentiment analysis as an upgrade — but also a tool to traditional investment strategy came with its challenges. An investor wants to see actual results before they invest, even if that meant a tool for their toolbox. That meant we had to lean on the data to prove it. How do you represent something that you can't see or hold? How can you show sentiment analysis across a multitude of news articles? How can you encourage the traditional investor to include a new tool in their toolbox? Representing sentiment analysis as an upgrade to traditional investment strategy came with its challenges.

Project Wins

Initially, we were asked to create a pitch deck, which turned into a website, which turned into a mobile app tour, a logo, an icon library...you get the picture. We were very pleased with the evolution and progression from one project to the next. We leaned heavily into the electric green to visually convey a very tech-positive and futuristic vibe. Smooth, liquid gradients carry you from one page to the next. We were even able to pull some live sentiment data and show it visually with chart.js on each and their ai portfolio models, which are all managed inside of Wordpress with their own custom theme.
